Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are a binding legal agreement between you and Two Skies, Inc., a Washington corporation (“Two Skies,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), governing your access to and use of the twoskies.ai website, the astrology readings we generate, the Ask Chart conversational feature, the Unfolding subscription, related mobile or email features, and any services linking to these Terms (collectively, the “Service”).

Please read these Terms carefully. They include a disclaimer that Two Skies is for reflective and entertainment purposes only and is not professional advice; a limitation of our liability; and a governing-law clause selecting Washington State.

By creating an account, making a purchase, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least eighteen (18) years old to create an account or make a purchase. The Service is not designed or intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact privacy@twoskies.ai and we will delete it.

By using the Service you represent that (a) you meet the age requirement above, (b) you have the legal capacity to enter these Terms, and (c) you are not barred from using the Service under the laws of your jurisdiction or any applicable US sanctions or export-control laws.

2. What Two Skies is — and what it is not

Two Skies is an astrology reading service. We compute your birth chart from the date, time, and place of birth you provide using the Swiss Ephemeris library, and generate interpretive text by combining deterministic astrological logic with a large language model (Claude, by Anthropic). The result is intended to be thought-provoking, reflective, and useful for self-understanding.

Two Skies is provided for entertainment, reflective, educational, and self-exploration purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional advice. Nothing you read in a Two Skies reading or an Ask Chart answer is medical, mental-health, psychiatric, psychological, legal, financial, tax, investment, relationship, reproductive, immigration, or any other kind of professional advice, diagnosis, prognosis, treatment, or recommendation.

If you are in emotional distress or experiencing a mental-health crisis, do not rely on Two Skies. Contact a qualified mental-health professional, or in the United States call or text 988 (Suicide and Crisis Lifeline) or dial 911 in an emergency. Internationally, contact your local emergency services.

Astrology is an interpretive tradition. We do not claim that our readings are predictions of future events, scientifically proven, empirically accurate, or guaranteed to match any particular outcome. You use the Service at your own judgment.

AI-generated content notice. Interpretive text in your reading and all Ask Chart answers is generated by a large language model. Language models can produce inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading statements (“hallucinations”). We design, test, and validate our prompts and outputs, but we cannot guarantee any specific piece of generated text is factually accurate. Do not act on generated content without independent verification from a qualified professional in the relevant field.

3. Your account and information

To use most parts of the Service you provide your name, email, and birth data (date, time, and place of birth). You are responsible for the accuracy of what you provide — an incorrect birth time will produce an incorrect chart and therefore an inaccurate reading. You are also responsible for keeping access to your email address, since that is how you sign in.

You agree not to create an account for another person without their permission, not to impersonate anyone, and not to submit another person's personal data to the Service except as expressly permitted in Section 4 (Partner data).

We may suspend or terminate accounts that appear fraudulent, inactive, or in violation of these Terms. See Privacy Policy for how we handle the information in your account.

4. Partner data (Relationship Readings)

Some features, such as our Relationship Reading, require the birth data of another person (a “Partner”). When you submit Partner data, you represent and warrant that:

• You have obtained the Partner's informed, explicit consent to submit their date, time, and place of birth to Two Skies for the purpose of generating a reading.
• The Partner has been told that their data will be processed by Two Skies and our sub-processors (including Anthropic for interpretation) and stored subject to our Privacy Policy.
• The Partner is at least the age required by Section 1.
• You will notify the Partner of their rights to access, correct, and delete their data, and you will forward any request they make to you (or to us) promptly.

You agree to indemnify Two Skies for any claim brought by a Partner whose data you submitted without proper consent. See Section 12 (Indemnification).

5. Payments, subscriptions, and cancellation

Parts of the Service are free; others require payment. All payments are processed by Stripe. Prices shown on the pricing page are in US dollars unless otherwise stated; taxes and currency-conversion fees may apply depending on your location and bank. Prices may change from time to time; any price change will only apply to purchases made after the effective date of the change.

5.1 One-time readings (The Story, Year Ahead, Relationship Reading)

One-time readings are charged once at the time of purchase. If you are unhappy with a one-time reading, email support@twoskies.ai within seven (7) days of purchase and we will issue a full refund, no questions asked. This refund policy is in addition to any non-waivable statutory rights you have (for example, the 14-day right of withdrawal under EU consumer law, subject to the digital-content exceptions that may apply once a reading is delivered).

5.2 Unfolding subscription (auto-renewing)

The Unfolding is an automatically-renewing subscription. When you purchase Unfolding, you authorize Two Skies (through Stripe) to charge your payment method the stated monthly price each billing period until you cancel. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each month at the then-current price until you cancel.

• How to cancel. You can cancel at any time by signing in and visiting My Readings, clicking “Manage subscription,” and selecting cancel in Stripe's billing portal. Cancellation is effective at the end of the current paid billing period; you keep access until that period ends. We do not require you to call, email, or contact us to cancel.
• Notice before each charge. In accordance with Washington (RCW 19.240) and California ARL requirements, before each renewal we (or our payment processor) will email you with the renewal amount, the next billing date, and a link to cancel.
• Free trials and introductory offers. If we offer a free trial or a discounted introductory price, we will clearly disclose the length of the trial, the price at which the subscription will auto-renew, and how to cancel before being charged. By accepting the trial you authorize the post-trial charge unless you cancel first.
• Refunds for subscription periods. Cancelling stops future renewals. We do not automatically prorate partial months. If you cancel within three (3) days of a renewal charge and have not meaningfully used that period's content, email us and we will refund it.

5.3 Failed payments

If a payment fails, we may retry the charge and we may suspend access to paid features until payment succeeds. If payment is not resolved within a reasonable period, we may cancel the subscription.

5.4 Chargebacks

If you dispute a charge with your bank or card network without first contacting us, we may suspend or delete your account pending resolution. We strongly prefer to fix any billing issue directly — email support@twoskies.ai before initiating a chargeback.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Scrape, spider, crawl, or otherwise automate access to the Service, except for good-faith search-engine indexing of pages that are publicly accessible without authentication.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to discover the prompts, validators, safety classifiers, chart-computation logic, or model configurations that power the Service.
• Use the Service as input to train, fine-tune, or evaluate any machine-learning model, or to create a competing astrology, divination, or AI-generated-content product.
• Resell, sublicense, redistribute, syndicate, or pass off Two Skies content as your own commercial work.
• Use the Service to harass, defame, threaten, impersonate, or harm another person, or to generate content about an identifiable person without their consent.
• Use the Service to circumvent another person's health-care, mental-health, or medical decisions, or to provide “diagnoses” to third parties.
• Probe, attack, or interfere with the Service's security, availability, or performance (including denial-of-service attempts, prompt-injection attacks against our safety classifiers, or attempts to exfiltrate system prompts).
• Use the Service in violation of any applicable law, including US export-control and sanctions laws (you may not use the Service if you are located in, or a resident of, a country subject to comprehensive US sanctions, or if you are on any US government restricted-parties list).

We may investigate suspected violations, suspend or terminate accounts, remove content, and cooperate with law enforcement when we are legally required to do so.

7. Your content and license to us

The information you provide (your birth data, life context, Ask Chart questions, Partner data) remains yours. You grant Two Skies a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to process that information solely for the purpose of operating and delivering the Service to you. See the Privacy Policy for full details on how we handle your data.

We may use anonymous, aggregated information (for example: “the median Ask Chart conversation has 4 turns”) to improve the Service, measure quality, and communicate publicly about the product. Anonymous aggregated data does not identify you.

8. Our content and intellectual property

The Service, including its written prompts, validators, chart-logic code, visual design, illustrations, blog posts, and brand elements, is owned by Two Skies or our licensors and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use under these Terms.

Output ownership. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, as between you and Two Skies you own the specific interpretive text generated for you in your readings and Ask Chart conversations, and you may share, download, and print it for personal use. However, because generative models may produce similar outputs for different users given similar inputs, we do not warrant that the output is unique to you, and we and other users may receive similar content. You may not republish, resell, syndicate, bulk-distribute, or use Two Skies output for commercial astrology, coaching, or divination services without our prior written consent.

All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved.

9. DMCA and copyright complaints

Two Skies respects intellectual-property rights. If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our designated DMCA agent containing:

• Your physical or electronic signature;
• Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed;
• The URL or specific location of the allegedly infringing content on the Service;
• Your name, address, phone number, and email;
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.

Send notices to legal@twoskies.ai with the subject line “DMCA Notice.” We will respond in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. § 512, and we may terminate accounts of users we determine are repeat infringers.

10. Changes to the Service and to these Terms

Two Skies is an evolving product. We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time, and we may impose limits on certain features or restrict access to parts of the Service without notice or liability.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify registered users by email at the address on file and post the updated Terms with a revised “Last updated” date at least fourteen (14) days before they take effect (or sooner if legally required, such as to address a regulatory change or a critical security issue). Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not accept them, your only remedy is to stop using the Service and, if applicable, cancel any active subscription.

11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Two Skies disclaims all warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, completeness, reliability, security, quiet enjoyment, and any warranties arising from course of dealing, usage, or trade practice.

We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements; that it will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free; that defects will be corrected; or that readings, Ask Chart answers, or any other generated content will be accurate, reliable, complete, current, or match any specific expectation.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of the exclusions above may not apply to you.

12. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TWO SKIES AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AGENTS, AND LICENSORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, including without limitation lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, loss of goodwill, service interruption, computer damage, personal injury, emotional distress, or any damages arising from decisions you made or actions you took based on a reading or Ask Chart answer — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages and even if a limited remedy fails of its essential purpose.

Our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred US dollars (US$100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the limitations above may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for fraud, gross negligence, willful misconduct, or any other liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

13. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Two Skies and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, and licensors from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use or misuse of the Service, (b) your violation of these Terms, (c) your violation of any applicable law or the rights of any third party (including Partner data submitted without proper consent), or (d) any content you submit to the Service.

14. Governing law, jurisdiction, and disputes

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or related to them or to the Service are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.

Before filing any claim, you agree to first contact us at legal@twoskies.ai with a written description of the dispute and to engage in good-faith informal resolution for at least sixty (60) days. If we cannot resolve the dispute informally, you agree that the exclusive jurisdiction and venue for any action will be the state or federal courts located in King County, Washington, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

Nothing in this Section prevents either party from seeking injunctive or equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction for intellectual-property or confidentiality claims, or from pursuing small-claims-court remedies for disputes within its jurisdictional limit.

Consumers outside the US. If you are a consumer resident in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, nothing in this Section deprives you of the protection of the mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of that country where permitted by law.

15. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account from the My Readings page. Cancelling a subscription stops future renewal charges as described in Section 5.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, in whole or in part, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms, if required by law, to protect the safety or rights of others, or to protect the integrity of the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including Sections 7 (Your content), 8 (Intellectual property), 11 (Disclaimers), 12 (Limitation of liability), 13 (Indemnification), 14 (Governing law), and this Section 15 — will survive.

16. Force majeure

Neither party will be liable for failure or delay in performing its obligations (other than payment obligations) to the extent the failure or delay is caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, civil unrest, labor disputes, government action, epidemics or pandemics, internet or power outages, or failures of third-party infrastructure providers (including our hosting, payment, email, or model providers).

17. Miscellaneous

• Entire agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any additional terms we reference for a specific feature, form the entire agreement between you and Two Skies regarding the Service and supersede any prior or contemporaneous agreements.
• Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the rest of the Terms will remain in full force and effect.
• No waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
• Assignment. You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your account without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms, in whole or in part, to an affiliate or in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets.
• No agency. Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, joint venture, employment, or agency relationship between you and Two Skies.
• Notices. We will give legal notices to you by email to the address on your account. You must give legal notices to us in writing to legal@twoskies.ai with a copy sent to our registered address.
• Language. These Terms were written in English. Any translation is provided for your convenience; in case of conflict the English version controls.
