Terms of Service

Welcome to Two Skies. These terms are the agreement between you and Two Skies (“we,” “us”) when you use the website, readings, Ask Chart, and any related features (together, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. What Two Skies is — and isn't

Two Skies is an astrology reading service. We compute your chart using the Swiss Ephemeris and generate interpretive text using a combination of software and a language model (Claude, by Anthropic). The result is meant to be thought-provoking, reflective, and useful for self-understanding.

Two Skies is for entertainment, reflective, and educational purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional advice. Nothing in your reading or in any Ask Chart answer is medical, psychological, legal, financial, or any other kind of professional advice. Do not use Two Skies to make decisions about your health, finances, legal matters, or significant life events without consulting qualified professionals.

Astrology is an interpretive tradition. We do not claim that readings are predictions of the future, scientifically proven, or guaranteed to be accurate. You use the Service at your own judgment.

2. Your account and information

To use Two Skies you provide your name, email, and birth data. You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide. Garbage in, garbage out — an incorrect birth time produces an incorrect chart. You're also responsible for keeping access to your email address, since that's how you sign in.

Please don't create accounts for other people without their permission, and don't submit anyone else's personal data to the Service.

3. Payments and refunds

Some parts of Two Skies are free; others require payment. Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are shown on the pricing page and may change from time to time; any change will only apply to purchases made after the change.

  • One-time readings (The Story). If you're unhappy with a reading, email us within 7 days of purchase and we'll issue a refund. We'd rather you be satisfied than stuck.
  • Unfolding subscription. Billed monthly and renews automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime by signing into My Readings and clicking “Manage subscription”, which opens Stripe's secure billing portal where you can cancel, update your payment method, and download invoices. Cancellation stops billing at the end of your current paid month — you keep access until then. We do not automatically prorate partial months, but if you cancel immediately after being charged and haven't used the month's content, email support@twoskies.co and we'll work something out.
  • Chargebacks. If you dispute a charge with your bank without contacting us first, we may suspend or delete your account.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Scrape, spider, or automate access to the Service except for good-faith search engine indexing of public pages.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer the prompts, validators, or chart computation.
  • Resell, redistribute, or pass off Two Skies readings as your own commercial work.
  • Use the Service to harass, deceive, or harm another person, or to generate content about someone without their consent.
  • Probe, attack, or interfere with the Service's security or performance.
  • Use the Service to do anything illegal, or to violate anyone's rights.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, and to cooperate with law enforcement when legally required.

5. Your content

The information you provide (your birth data, life context, Ask Chart questions) remains yours. You grant us a limited license to process it for the purpose of delivering the Service. See the Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your data.

The readings and Ask Chart responses we generate for you are for your personal use. You may share your own reading with friends or family. You may not republish, resell, or commercially redistribute the content of the Service.

6. Changes to the Service

Two Skies is an evolving product. We may add, change, or remove features over time. We may also change these terms; if we make material changes, we'll notify registered users by email. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that readings will match any specific expectation.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Two Skies and anyone working on it will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service — including lost profits, lost data, or anything that happens because you acted on a reading. Our total liability for any direct damages is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose (or, if you paid nothing, one hundred US dollars).

9. Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold Two Skies harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses that arise from your misuse of the Service or your violation of these terms.

10. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute arising from the Service will be resolved first by good-faith discussion between us; if that fails, in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.

11. Termination

You can stop using the Service at any time and delete your account from the My Readings page. We may terminate or suspend accounts for violations of these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, governing law) will survive.
