Getting started

What is Two Skies?

Two Skies is an astrology product that reads your chart through both Western (tropical, psychological) and Vedic (sidereal, karmic) traditions — not as competing systems, but as two lenses that illuminate different facets of the same placement.

Most apps pick one. We pick both, because both are true and both are useful, and the synthesis is where the real reading lives.

Do I need to know my exact birth time?

For the deepest reading — houses, ascendant, dasha timing — yes. Without a birth time, the chart is approximated to noon, which means signs and planets are accurate but house placements and rising sign are not.

You can use Two Skies without a birth time and the daily horoscope still works (it leans on Moon and Sun signs), but the Story and Year Ahead are richer with one. If you don't know yours, ask a parent or check your birth certificate.

How accurate is this?

The chart math is precise — we use the Swiss Ephemeris, the same engine professional astrologers rely on. The interpretation is generated by a model that has been trained on classical astrological texts and tuned to the Two Skies voice.

Astrology is a language for understanding your inner life, not a prediction of external events. Read it as a mirror, not a forecast. The most useful thing you can do with a reading is notice what part of it lands.

About the astrology

Why does my chart look different here than on another app?

Most likely: the other app uses only one tradition. Tropical astrology (most Western apps, including Co-Star) places planets by their seasonal sign. Sidereal astrology (most Vedic / Jyotish apps) places them against the actual constellations, which have shifted ~24° over the past two thousand years.

Two Skies shows you both. Your Sun in Sagittarius (tropical) may be your Sun in Scorpio (sidereal). Both are true within their system. Neither is wrong.

What is a nakshatra?

A nakshatra is one of the 27 lunar mansions of Vedic astrology — a finer-grained division of the zodiac than signs alone. If a sign is the drumbeat of your chart, the nakshatra is the melody inside it. Each nakshatra has a ruling deity, an animal, a shakti (power), and a particular flavor that modifies how the planet expresses itself.

What is a dasha?

A dasha is a planetary period — a chapter of your life governed by a specific planet's influence. Vedic astrology uses a system called Vimshottari Dasha that maps the 120-year cycle of life into nine planetary chapters of varying length. Your current mahadasha (long chapter) tells you what your life is currently being shaped by.

Your reading

What is the Glimpse?

The Glimpse is a free preview of your chart — the immediate impression a skilled astrologer would have on first sight. It's short, written for you specifically, and meant to give you a sense of whether the deeper reading (the Story) will land.

What is the Story?

The Story is the full reading — the long-form synthesis of your chart through both traditions, written as one continuous essay rather than a list of placements. It covers your core character, your current life chapter, the work you're here to do, and the patterns to watch for. Read it twice. Different things land each time.

My horoscope feels generic. Why?

Two reasons it might. First: if you marked yourself as “new to astrology” in your profile, the daily horoscope is intentionally written in plain language, without naming planets or aspects — psychological-friend voice rather than chart-readout voice. If you'd prefer the technical version with Sanskrit terms and named placements, update your astrology background in Profile.

Second: the daily horoscope is shorter than the Story by design (~50 words). For depth, read your Story or upgrade to Sky+ for a fuller daily reading.

Can I share my reading?

Yes — every reading has a private link you can send to anyone. Whoever opens it can read what you wrote, but they can't see your account, your chat, or generate new content on it. If you want to revoke access, delete the reading from My Readings.

Sky+

What's included in Sky+?

  • A deeper daily horoscope written specifically for your chart
  • Higher monthly Ask Your Chart quota
  • Monthly transit reports
  • Sky events — alerts when a major transit lands on your chart

How do I cancel Sky+?

Profile → Manage subscription → Cancel. You keep access until the end of your billing period. If you subscribed through the iOS or Android app, you have to cancel through your App Store / Play Store subscription settings — we can't cancel store-managed subscriptions on your behalf.

Can I get a refund?

Within 7 days of subscribing: yes, just email support@twoskies.ai.

For one-time purchases (Story, Year Ahead, Relationship Report): full refund within 7 days, no questions. After that, we'll consider it case by case.

App Store purchases must be refunded through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. Play Store purchases through your Play Store order history.

Account & billing

How do I delete my account?

Mobile: Profile → Delete account. Web: sign in, then go to My Readings and use the “Delete account” option at the bottom. Deletion cascades through every reading, message, and subscription tied to your account. We retain a minimal anonymized telemetry record (no PII) for accounting and abuse prevention.

How do I change my email or password?

Mobile: Profile → Change password / Change email. Web: sign in, then Account settings. If you signed up via Google or Apple, your email is managed by them; you can't change it inside Two Skies.

I think I have two accounts.

This sometimes happens if you signed up with email/password once, then later signed in with Google or Apple using the same email — we don't auto-link them yet. Email support@twoskies.ai with both account details and we'll merge them manually.

I was charged twice.

Email support@twoskies.ai with the date and amount of the duplicate charge. We'll refund the duplicate within 24 hours.

Privacy & data

Who can see my chart?

You. The system uses your chart to generate readings (which requires sending your birth data to our AI providers, Anthropic and OpenAI, under their data-processing agreements — neither uses it to train their models). No human at Two Skies looks at individual charts in the normal course of work. Your shared reading links are accessible only to people you give the link to.

Do you sell my data?

No. We don't sell, rent, or share your personal information with advertisers or data brokers. Full details in our Privacy Policy.

Can I download my data?

Email privacy@twoskies.ai and we'll send you an export of everything tied to your account within 30 days. (We're building a self-serve export tool; for now this is a manual process.)

Something is broken

I can't sign in.

First try the “Forgot password” link to reset. If you signed up with Google or Apple, use the same provider button to sign in — password sign-in won't work for those accounts. If neither works, email support@twoskies.ai with the email you signed up with.

The app crashes.

Force-quit and reopen first — that fixes most transient issues. If it keeps crashing, email support@twoskies.ai with your device model, OS version, and what you were doing when it crashed. The Send feedback button inside the app attaches diagnostics automatically.

I'm waiting for a verification email and it hasn't arrived.

Check your spam folder first. If it's not there, the email may have been blocked by your provider — some corporate inboxes filter aggressively. Try requesting a new code; if that doesn't arrive within 5 minutes, use a personal email instead and email us if you're stuck.

Still stuck?

Email support@twoskies.ai. A real person reads every message and replies within 48 hours, usually faster.
